Although currently based in Los Angeles, Kirstin caters to the entire Southern California area. Born and raised in Coronado, she has three major installation pieces in homes there (dragon, star floor and mermaid). She is as delighted to work in the San Diego region as Los Angeles.
An age-old medium,
mosaics have been created and utilized by cultures throughout
the world as a functional, permanent and beautiful art form. Kirstin
is inspired by classical mosaics from different cultures and times,
including Ancient Greece, Rome, and the Middle East, as well as
more modern styles, such as Spanish and contemporary American
mosaics.
